SlideBlast Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SlideBlast ("we", "us") handles information when you use our iOS application, our Android application or the SlideBlast mini game on TikTok. SlideBlast is published by Crescent Harbor LLC, a limited liability company registered in Pennsylvania, United States, operating under the DogearHQ brand.

Information We Collect Directly

SlideBlast does not ask you to create an account or collect your name or email address. Ad providers may collect device and advertising identifiers, as described in this policy. Game progress, including your high score, is stored locally on your device.

The TikTok version has an optional leaderboard. When you finish a game and have a nickname, either your TikTok display name or one you choose, SlideBlast sends the following to our leaderboard service:

• A player ID. In the TikTok version it is a one-way hash of the OpenID that TikTok issues for SlideBlast, so it cannot be turned back into your OpenID. If TikTok sign-in is unavailable, a random ID created on your device is used instead.
• Your nickname (up to 16 characters): your TikTok display name if you allowed SlideBlast to read it, otherwise a nickname you choose.
• Your score.
• The time your score was submitted.

We store nothing else. Apart from your TikTok display name, if you allow it, we do not receive your name, TikTok username or other profile information, contacts, photos or precise location. Nicknames, including TikTok display names, and scores are shown publicly to other players on the All time and Today leaderboards. Please do not use your real name or other personal information as your nickname.

When the TikTok version starts, it signs you in silently through TikTok. Our server exchanges the sign-in code with TikTok for your OpenID, an identifier TikTok issues for SlideBlast, turns it into the player ID described above, and discards the OpenID and TikTok access tokens without storing them.

After your first game, the TikTok version asks for TikTok's permission to read your basic profile. If you allow it, our server uses that permission at sign-in to read your TikTok display name and passes it to the game; we do not request your avatar or any other profile field. The game stores the display name on your device in TikTok's mini game storage, shows it in the top bar, and uses it as your leaderboard nickname, so it is stored with your scores in the leaderboard database described below. Our server does not store it anywhere else. If you decline, the game shows "TikTok Player" and you can choose a nickname instead. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your TikTok settings.

Where Leaderboard Data Is Stored

Leaderboard data is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection and stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. on our behalf. Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the request, but we do not store it. Today entries are deleted automatically after two days. All time entries are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Information Collected by Third Parties (iOS app)

This section describes the iOS app. SlideBlast shows ads through Google AdMob on iPhone, iPad and Android. Google AdMob may use the device's advertising identifier and similar data to serve and measure ads, subject to Google's policies.

The iOS app asks permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt before using the advertising identifier for personalized ads. The iOS app also shows a Google consent form.

The TikTok version offers an optional rewarded video ad that you start by tapping a button on the game-over screen. It may also show an occasional full-screen ad between games, when you tap Play Again, or once during a game when your score reaches a very high level. These ads are provided and served by TikTok, which may collect information to serve and measure them, and TikTok collects information about your use of TikTok, including mini games, under its own privacy policy: tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy. We do not receive the information TikTok collects for ads.

Android app (Google Play)

The Android app is available on Google Play. It shows ads through Google AdMob, which may use the device's advertising ID and similar data to serve and measure ads, subject to Google's policies.

The contact details and deletion requests described on this page apply to both the iOS and Android apps.

Your Choices

• The leaderboard is optional. If you decline TikTok's permission prompt and never choose a nickname, nothing is added to the leaderboard.
• To delete your leaderboard entry, email us with your nickname and approximate score and we will remove it.
• On iOS, you can decline tracking through the App Tracking Transparency prompt and make choices in the Google consent form. Google describes how it uses data for ads at policies.google.com/technologies/ads
• You can reset your device's advertising identifier at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising

Children's Privacy

SlideBlast is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data Security

Leaderboard data is sent over HTTPS and stored with Cloudflare as described above. All other game data remains on your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
